A Midsummer Night's Moon
Over hill, over dale, Thorough bush, thorough brier, Over park, over pale, Thorough flood, thorough fire, I do wander every where, Swifter than the moon's sphere; And I serve the fairy queen, To dew her orbs upon the green: The cowslips tall her pensioners be; In their gold coats spots you see; Those be rubies, fairy favours, In those freckles live their savours: I must go seek some dew-drops here And hang a pearl in every cowslip's ear. Farewell, thou lob of spirits: I'll be gone; Our queen and all her elves come here anon.
- William Shakespeare A Midsummer Night's Dream - Act II, Scene I
This beautiful fairy monologue from Shakespeare has haunted our dreams and is the direct inspiration for this design. We were inspired by the imagery of the fairies, hanging tiny pearl earrings of dewdrops in the sleeping flowers. We sourced a Montana Agate for this design as each is completely unique with its natural inclusions looking like branches or sometimes feathers.
Specifications: - Gold Vermeil (Sterling Silver, gold plated)
- Focal Agate measures approx. 20mm - Chain measures approx. 40cm

Jewellery care:
Gold plating is not eternal and with time, your jewellery piece will go back to silver. In order to preserve the gold colour as long as possible, make sure to remove your jewellery when showering and avoid contact with perfumes and lotions.
