Eirene is the Greek goddess of Spring and Peace - she is one of the three deities of the seasons and keepers to the gates of heaven.
Olive trees have long since been associated as a symbol of peace and friendship - they provide precious nourishment, shade and fuel.
We chose the olive branch as a symbol for this ring, engraving it into the sides of the band and setting tiny dark sapphires and cubic zirconias directly into the metal to represent the olive fruits.
The central crackled oval cubic zirconia itself is a wonderful verdant olive green, we've chosen a very unusual and organic crinkled wave setting to echo the appearance of a pitted olive.
Let this wonderful ring be a welcomed symbol of peace, friendship and healing.
Each piece is created with stones and wax, which we then shape, carve and cast. This is called the lost wax technique (where the wax is melted out and replaced by molten metal!) We then hand polish and finish each piece, before sending them to be gold plated in London's Hatton Garden district.
