Filigree

These precious rings take their inspiration from the delicate and ancient art of Filigree. Filigree consists of lace-like ornamental metalwork. However here we decided to play with this idea of intricate plaits, twists and braids, but instead using wax wires, carefully bending and melting them into a patterned structure. For one of them, we even inserted small sparkly Cubic Zirconia gemstones. Both rings were then cast into metal using the ancient technique of lost wax casting. These precious heirlooms are completely one of a kind and once again, a true work of love and patience.

Jewellery care:

Gold plating is not eternal and with time, your jewellery piece will go back to silver. In order to preserve the gold colour as long as possible, make sure to remove your jewellery when showering and avoid contact with perfumes and lotions.
