Gold Drip

Our inspiration for this desgin? The thick wax droplets and stalactite drips from a melting candle, encrusting a dusty bottle of wine. We were inspired by the material itself - the molten wax - in contrast with a beautiful natural Citrine points.
Thinking of ways to incorporate natural crystal points into our jewellery is always a bit of a challenge, but we think we've found a new favourite and have already been working on more desgins.

This one of a kind pair of citrine earrings was made using hot wax, sculpting drops and creating a "dripping" effect. The crystal cap was then casted and mounted on top of natural crystals from our accumulated collection.

Simple, small hoop leverback earring findings make these easy to layer with other earrings for a curated effect.
