Gold Drip

An absoute new favourite!
This beautiful pear pendant is part of our signature Molten Artefacts collection. At first it appears to be a simple crystal claw pendant, but upon closer examination, you discover the jewel is trapped in this gold slyme. This molten fantasy piece hangs close to neck, held by a fine cable chain.
Melted wax was used to create the drippy setting for these cubic zirconia beauties. Setting the stones later, rather than casting in place, preserved all the intensity of the colour and sparkle of this pear cut.
It's elegant, unique and interesting!

Each piece is created with jeweller's wax, which we carve and then cast. This is called the lost wax technique (where the wax is melted out and replaced by molten metal). We then hand polish and finish each piece, before sending them to be gold plated in London's Hatton Garden district.

Each piece is gold plated in London. In order to preserve your jewellery piece, make sure to avoid contact with perfume, sprays and remove before showering and hand washing.
