Molten Artefact
Our hand carved Artefact pendants are all lovingly made by us. Many are completely unique (one of a kind treasures!). The inspiration behind these pendants is the link throughout humanity's history between jewellery and crafts, and the role they play in our personal stories, myths and legends. Jewellery has always had a certain unique power to hold talismanic properties and sentimental value.
Our Artefact pendants are a mixture of periods that we adore - mediaeval, Elizabethan, Victorian - always with an organic feel and modern twist.
Each piece is created with stones and wax, which we then shape, carve and cast. This is called the lost wax technique (where the wax is melted out and replaced by molten metal!) We then hand polish and finish each piece, before sending them to be gold plated in London's Hatton Garden district.
We hope you feel the love and inspiration from our hands and hearts to yours when you wear these pieces!
