Our hand carved, lost wax technique Artefact pendants are all lovingly made by us and many are completely unique (one of a kind!). The inspiration behind these pendants is the link throughout humanity's history between jewellery and crafts and the role they play in our personal stories, myths and legends.
Jewellery has always had a certain unique power to hold talismanic properties and sentimental value.
Our Artefact pendants are a mixture of periods that we adore - medieval, Elizabethan, Victorian and so many others- always with an organic, crafted feel and a modern twist.
Each piece is created with stones and wax which we then shape and carve and cast via the lost wax technique (where the wax is melted out and replaced by molten metal!) We then hand polish and finish each piece, before gold plating in London's Hatton Garden district.
We hope you feel the love and inspiration from our hands and hearts to yours when you wear these pieces!
The Paisley pendants are a distant memory of faraway times - colourful silks, jangling gold, smokey incense, lushly perfumed gardens full of night blooms and the wink of a tiger's eye. Unearthen in new splendour, a talisman to treasure for forgotten escapism.
